Common Fleabane
- Erigeron philadelphicus

Aster Family AKA: Philadelphia fleabane

The name, fleabane is derived from the belief that these plants repel fleas.

The clasping leaves differentiate it from Daisy Fleabane. Another is to count the petals, Common Fleabane generally has more than 150 while Daisy Fleabane has less than 100. To a casual observer there's no difference between them, knowing it's a fleabane is good enough.
