A very velvety plant, soft to the touch. The flowers are exceptionally pretty but hang down under the leaves making them almost unnoticeable. The fruit matures in a husk, first green then turning yellow with maturity.
Note the plant is in the nightshade family which is known by it's poisonous reputation. Clammy Ground Cherry is poisonous as well as the unripe fruit. The mature yellow husk tomato is reportedly edible but I think I'll skip trying one.
